Ni som är intresserade kan läsa detta, det verkar vara en risk med både LED o energispar, men jag är inte så insatt än, vet inte om det gäller varmvita lampor exvis eller hur stor risken är o vad man kan göra för att minska risken.
CITAT
both kinds of lights, energy saving lamps as well as LED lamps, present a spectral distribution which is quite different compared to light sources with a natural spectral composition found in thermal light sources like sunlight, incandescent light and fire. LED light shows no spectral emission lines like mercury-driven fluorescents, but the principle of creating white light with LED is based on the production of blue light which is partly transformed into yellow light using the effect of fluorescence. Blue light and yellow light blended together results in a kind of "dirty" white light perceived by the human eye based on the additive color mixing model. Due to the priciple of light generation in white LEDs the spectrum shows significant portions of blue, is lacking turquise and green components as well as wavelengths longer than 650 nm regardless their CCT value (Correlated Color Temperature).
Since the blue portion stimulates the signal transduction channel for systemic stress reaction (retina-hypothalamus-pituitary gland axis) and suppresses sleep and regeneration (which can be measured by melatonin concentration, retina-hypothalamus-pineal axis), all light sources with increased amounts of blue in their spectrum (CFL, white LED) share the same problem of inducing increased circadian disruption when used after sunset with all possible long term consequences like cancer, immune dysfunction, high blood pressure and consecutive circulatory diseases.
LED lamps can be even worse compared to CFL regarding the flicker effect depending on the electronic circuitry used in the assembly. Since there are no binding standards for light flicker, the manufacturers can more or less do what they want regarding this particular light parameter. It already had been shown in the 1950ies, that flickering light influences the water retention in the human system via anti-diuretic hormone stimulation. Light flicker can be invisible for the eyes and still be able to cause adverse vegetative effects.
Please find a synopsis of the spectra of different light sources attached to this email.
