Jo då, jag är säker! Köpte den i Grekland för 11 år sen och står nu på sin tredje plats ... Blomsterlandet uttrycker sig tyvärr lite klumpigt. Det verkar vara när den blivit mycket tung som det kan va bra med stöd. Tveksam om den kan bli det i mitt klimat ...

In fact, that's what the Latin species radicans means: 'stems that root'. So anytime you see that specific epithet attached to a plant, know that each joint produces roots that cling to nearby structures. The roots can cause damage to homes and sheds and even pull over trees if the vine is allowed to ramble at will.

The vines climb by twining stems and by abundant rootlike stems. Tiny aerial rootlets along these stems attach to rough surfaces and wiggle their way into tiny crevices. They damage wood, stone, stucco and brick. Without added support, the weight of trumpet vines often pulls these materials down, bringing drain spouts and gutters with them. The tiny roots stay attached to the wall or tear away, leaving stained and damaged surfaces behind them.
