A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, the conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in their work and lives.

Offering her guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups -- porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain-looking, some expensive, some exquisite -- telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the alumni had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said, "Notice that all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases, it is just more expensive, and, in some cases, even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups, and then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; your job, money, and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life. The type of cup one has does not define, nor change, the quality of life a person lives. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee provided us.

The happiest people never have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything they have.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Enjoy your coffee! ........ AND HAVE ANOTHER CUP !!!!!!!!

Fast kaffe är mycket godare i fina koppar än i en plastmugg, så det så!

Men ibland kan kaffe i en pappersmugg vara himmelskt...

Njuter alltid av mitt kaffe, vilken bytta det än må serveras i.... Ibland e det starkt, ångande hett.. ibland avdankat och svagt... men kaffe är ändock alltid kaffe...

Och kaffe i en plåtmugg smakar utmärkt när man sitter i skogen
Så visst ligger det nåt i historien.

Dricker inte kaffe, men är med ändå . Tänkvärd liten historia, den kommer jag att skicka vidare!

En sån fin sedelärande berättelse.

Hon jag fick den ifrån (som hon har kopierat ...) är en dam på över 80 år!!!
Jag träffade henne och hennes familj 1970 i USA... (hm... min matte är inte så bra men det är väl 10år sen? )

Höll kontakten i ca 10 år och "tappade" sedan bort dem. För ca 10år sedan fick jag kontakt igen. Jag hittade deras telefonnummer och tog mod till mig och ringde upp....
Hennens man svarade och sa efter 15sekunder:
-"Mary, it's for You, you'll be surpriced"


och trots alla år som gått så var det precis som om det var förra veckan vi pratades vid.

Hon är den mäniska som förutom den närmaste familjen har betytt mest för mig: Tänker jag på henne tänker jag KÄRLEK... (i ordets Vackraste form) Utan henne hade jag inte varit den jag är i dag och helt säkert en olyckligare mäniska!!



Usch vad nostalgisk jag blev då..... förlåt.....

Ett par gånger i livet och på de mest oväntade platser träffar man en människa som påverkar en mer än man någonsin kan ana.. bäst att hålla ögonen öppna annars kan han/hon slinka en förbi...
